Physician Bio

Alyssa Woodbury, PA-C, has always had a passion for helping others, which led her to start her journey in medicine by volunteering at a free clinic while still in high school. She chose to become a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) because it allows her to provide diverse care across multiple specialties, both in the operating room and in the clinic. Since her graduation, Alyssa has focused her career on Orthopedics, where she helps patients return to healthy and active lifestyles.

Alyssa is dedicated to building strong relationships with her patients and their families. She believes in working collaboratively to develop treatment plans that fit each patient’s unique needs and lifestyle. Her approach involves thoroughly discussing all available options, from non-surgical treatments to surgical interventions, ensuring patients are well-informed and involved in their care decisions.

Alyssa earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL, graduating in June 2013. She is board-certified by the NCCPA and holds active Physician Assistant state licenses in Idaho, New Hampshire, and Michigan. She also holds inactive licenses in South Carolina, Oregon, and Wisconsin.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, Lyman Briggs College, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology in May 2009. During her time there, she participated in a study abroad program in London, focusing on Medical Ethics and the History of Health Care.

Alyssa has extensive experience in orthopedic surgery, having served as a surgical first assist across various specialties, including sports medicine, trauma, spine, foot/ankle, and total joints.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to travel, camp, hike, paddle board, and ski. Additionally, she enjoys cooking, baking, and crafting sourdough bread creations. As a proud Michigan State University alumna, she will be heard saying  “Go Green!”

Alyssa is excited to be back in the mountains, where she can take advantage of the outdoor activities she loves. She is also looking forward to her role at Bingham Healthcare, where she is committed to serving the surrounding community with compassionate, patient-centered care.
