Physician Bio
Bingham Healthcare is pleased to introduce Curtis Mortensen, DO, double board-certified in emergency medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Mortensen is an emergency physician who focuses on treatment of emergent conditions in our emergency room.
Dr. Mortensen is affiliated with several professional medical organizations, including the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Emergency Physicians. When Dr. Mortensen is not practicing medicine, he spends time with his eight children, fishing, hunting, skiing, and camping.
Professional Credentials
- Completed his undergraduate studies in exercise physiology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah
- Graduated from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine (UHS) in Kansas City, Missouri
- Completed his Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine residency at the St. John Westshore Hospital in Westlake, Ohio, during which time he received several awards and honors, including the Jack J. Brill Award for Outstanding Resident of the Year and the Arnold P. Gold Foundation-Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award
