The Health & Wellness Sleep Institute, a proud affiliate of Bingham Healthcare, is pleased to introduce Cyndi Rice, RNC, NP, an advanced practice registered nurse who is nationally certified in women’s healthcare and bariatrics/obesity treatments. Cyndi has more than 30 years of experience working in the medical field.

Cyndi specializes in providing treatment for obesity-related health problems, such as sleep disorders (e.g., obstructive sleep apnea), diabetes, eating disorders, high cholesterol, depression, anxiety, and hypertension. Cyndi takes obesity treatments seriously because it is a disease that deserves comprehensive management, not only addressing diet and exercise. She believes in treating the underlying and associated problems aggressively with medications in addition to any surgical intervention a patient may have undergone. She has experience managing care for patients who have undergone bariatric surgeries, including LAP band or sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass.

When she is not helping to change people’s lives, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her children and grandchildren, gardening, repurposing old junk, and traveling. She especially loves the ocean and whale watching and finds it relaxing to paint and sew.
