Physician Bio

We are pleased to introduce Jerilyn Harrington, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW).

She has a background in helping individuals and couples, with additional experience in family counseling. She has helped clients of all ages struggling with a range of issues, including grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, substance abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has specialized experience and training working with women.

When meeting with others, Jerilyn seeks to empower clients as they work towards accomplishing therapeutic goals that are individualized to their own tailored treatment plans. She views the healing process as a collaborative endeavor that is dependent upon honest caring with absence of judgement. Treatment modalities that she has been trained in and uses the most in counseling include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapy.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social work from Brigham Young University – Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. Further, she earned a Masters in Social Work from University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

When Jerilyn is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, shopping, and crafting.
