Physician Bio
We are pleased to introduce you to Matthew Day, advanced practice registered nurse (APRN), at the Idaho Kidney Institute.
He works with patients who have chronic kidney disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes related kidney problems, and anemia. He also works with patients who require dialysis, pre- and post-kidney transplant therapy, and cardiorenal syndrome. As well as a special interest in caring for patients with HIV and HIV associated nephropathy.
Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Idaho State University College of Nursing in Pocatello, Idaho, as well as a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio.
When Matthew is not practicing medicine, he enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures and foods, enjoying the beautiful outdoors hiking and skiing, or taking it easy and enjoying a good movie marathon.
