Physician Bio

We are pleased to introduce Wade Christensen, PA-C, certified physician assistant, who works at Bingham Healthcare’s Physicians and Surgeons Clinic of Shelley and Shelley Urgent Care. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Utah State University and a Bachelor’s of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University.

As a dedicated healthcare professional for over 25 years, Wade assesses patients of all ages by performing a comprehensive history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing. He’s also equipped to see patients for all needs associated with urgent care as well.

What sets Wade apart is not just his medical expertise, but his genuine passion for cultivating long-lasting relationships with his patients. In his own words, “What I enjoy most about my job is the people I treat.” He takes pride in offering the best healthcare possible, knowing that his patients have entrusted him with their well-being. This trust and mutual respect form the foundation of his practice, enabling him to collaborate effectively with his patients on treatment plans.

Outside of the clinic, Wade finds fulfillment in his role as a devoted husband and father. Married to his beloved wife Tauna for two decades, they share four children together. Their home in Firth, Idaho, holds a special place in Wade’s heart, as he’s lived in the community for almost all his life. From horseback riding to camping and exploring the great outdoors, the Christensen family embraces the natural splendor of Southeast Idaho.

Wade looks forward to making connections with the individuals and families under his care and working closely to provide them the best possible healthcare. He is excited to be part of the Bingham Healthcare team.
