Physician Bio

Jason Howard, CNP, brings a wealth of experience to Bingham Healthcare with a diverse background in both surgical and clinical settings. As a Certified Nurse Practitioner, he has extensive experience in general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, gynecology, plastics, and cardiothoracic procedures. A proud Desert Storm veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve, Jason has spent his career working in a variety of high-demand surgical environments, contributing his expertise to both routine and trauma cases.

Jason’s deep knowledge of total joint replacement and orthopedic trauma systems, paired with his leadership experience as a trauma staff coordinator in orthopedic and neurosurgery at a Level I Trauma facility, has made him an invaluable asset in providing comprehensive, high-quality patient care. His work extends to educating and training new employees and students in the proper setup and operation of surgical procedures, ensuring a standard of excellence is maintained.

His clinical skills include treatment planning and care, clinical assessment and diagnosis, health promotion, and women’s health. With a particular interest in orthopedic procedures, urgent care, and pediatrics, Jason’s well-rounded skill set allows him to provide exceptional care to patients across various age groups and specialties. He is certified by the AANP and holds additional certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). His robust surgical experience as a first assist and his knowledge of the latest advancements in surgical technology, including robotic procedures, ensure his patients receive top-notch care.

Jason earned his Master of Science in Family Nurse Practice from United States University in San Diego, CA, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lewis-Clark State College. His commitment to continuous education and his extensive clinical background makes him a trusted provider at Bingham Healthcare, where he is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through compassionate and knowledgeable care. Jason will be seeing patients at all of Bingham Healthcare’s urgent care locations, ensuring access to timely and expert care for a wide range of medical needs.
