Physician Bio

Scott Ryan Mangum, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant providing care in both acute and outpatient clinical settings. He maintains active certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS), and holds an active Idaho PA license.

Scott earned his Master of Clinical Health Services from the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program. He also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Idaho State University.

Before becoming a physician assistant, Scott spent several years working in clinical support roles across multiple departments in Pocatello, including emergency department registration, outpatient access, clinic admissions, and medical assisting. He has worked as a medical assistant in primary care for 3 years and pain management for about 9 months.

Scott was born and raised in Southeast Idaho and is excited to be working with and helping the people where he grew up. He has a passion for health and wellness and wants to help his patients achieve true wellness.

In his free time, he enjoys exercising, cooking, hiking, snowboarding, and spending time with his family.
