CRCA and Bingham Healthcare to Break Ground on New Medical Facility in Chubbuck
BLACKFOOT, ID – September 12, 2018 – The Cardio Renal Centers of America (CRCA), in conjunction with Bingham Healthcare and Fresenius Kidney Care, is pleased to announce they will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony for their new, state-of-the-art Community Medical Campus in Chubbuck, which will include multiple buildings.
The festivities will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018. At 5 p.m. there will be a ceremonial groundbreaking with speeches from Kevin England, Mayor of the City of Chubbuck, and Dr. Fahim Rahim, project developer and local community physician.
This exciting event will be open to the public and will take place at a lot to the south of Knudsen Blvd., between Hawthorne Rd. and W. Burnside Ave. There will be local food trucks, a live band, bounce houses, and so much more!
This medical campus will serve the citizens of the City of Chubbuck as well as provide greater access and more options for healthcare to Pocatello and all of Bannock County. “The medical campus will offer inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care services,” says Dr. Rahim. “The medical needs of those suffering from chronic diseases affecting the heart and kidneys will also be addressed at this facility. In the future, we also plan to bring senior living and sub-acute care facilities to the area as well.”
Once it is complete, there will be more than 80 doctors working there. The primary goal will be for these world-class specialists to provide coordinated care to better meet patient needs. This is similar, but on a much larger scale, to the concept Dr. Rahim and partners have introduced to Idaho Falls—the 30,000 square foot Comprehensive Care Clinics (opening in October 2018)—and the 15,000 square foot CRCA complex that was opened in Blackfoot in 2017, in partnership with Bingham Healthcare.
The new Community Medical Campus in Chubbuck will be over 150,000 square feet and include physician offices for outpatient clinic visits for nephrology, interventional radiology, primary care needs, women’s healthcare, and pediatrics, along with offering the latest technology in the region for peritoneal dialysis. In addition, there will be interventional pain management, orthopedic care, joint replacements, spine care, mental health services, an on-site pharmacy, and laboratory. The primary stakeholders in this development include physician partners, regional healthcare leaders, development partners, and Bingham Healthcare.
“When it comes to healthcare, Idahoans deserve the absolute best,” says Jake Erickson, CEO of Bingham Healthcare. “We want to give everyone in Eastern Idaho more medical options to choose from. This innovative medical campus will represent the future of medicine and our vision to improve the quality of personalized care for all patients.”
