Bingham Healthcare Welcomes Eric Wahlen to Board of Directors
BLACKFOOT, ID ― June 26, 2025 ― Bingham Healthcare is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Wahlen to its Board of Directors. A respected leader in Idaho’s agribusiness community, Wahlen brings over four decades of experience in farming, produce distribution, and strategic operations to his new role.
Wahlen currently serves as General Manager of Pleasant Valley Potato, a nationally recognized grower-shipper operation based in Aberdeen. Under his leadership, the company ships 30 to 40 truckloads of potatoes daily across the United States, maintaining strong relationships with both growers and buyers. Raised on a family farm, Eric has spent a lifetime navigating the challenges and rewards of agricultural life, developing a pragmatic leadership style and a deep understanding of rural community needs.

A lifelong Idahoan, Wahlen and his wife Ralene—originally from Sugar City—have been married for 30 years and raised three children. Now entering a new chapter as empty nesters, the Wahlens remain committed to serving their community. Eric brings with him not only extensive operational experience, but also a personal understanding of the healthcare challenges working families face.
