Physician Bio

We are pleased to introduce Candiss Aschenbrenner, Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in gastroenterology. Candiss works closely with James Goff, MD, to provide comprehensive care for patients experiencing a variety of gastrointestinal issues.

With nearly 10 years of medical experience, Candiss specializes in treating disorders of the digestive system, including conditions affecting the stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and esophagus. She is dedicated to helping patients manage conditions such as abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), heartburn, and other gastrointestinal disorders.

In addition to her work in gastroenterology, Candiss has a diverse medical background, including experience in family medicine, functional medicine, holistic care, women’s health, and behavioral medicine. She has also worked extensively with individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities.

Outside of medicine, Candiss enjoys daily meditation and yoga, writing, and spending time with her family while exploring the beauty of Southeast Idaho.
