Physician Bio

We are pleased to announce the addition of Moon Joo Kim, MD, to our pathology team. Dr. Kim is originally from Korea and completed her surgical pathology fellowship in Surgery Pathology at the prestigious University of Texas MD Anderson. Prior to this, she honed her expertise through a fellowship in Hematopathology at Houston Methodist Hospital and a pathology residency at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Dr. Kim’s journey into medicine was fueled by a profound interest in the pathophysiology of diseases and a desire to contribute valuable knowledge to her community. This passion has led her to eastern Idaho, where she eagerly joins the Idaho Pathology Laboratory team.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Kim and her husband are excited to embrace the beautiful and peaceful scenery of Idaho. The great weather, kind people, and the opportunity to experience all four seasons have been significant factors in their decision to set down roots here. She looks forward to enjoying outdoor activities and becoming an integral part of the community.
