BMH Kicks Off 3rd Annual Back-to-School Coloring Contest

We are so excited to announce that we’re launching our 3rd Annual Back-to-School Coloring Contest, sponsored by Dr. Gary Ullery, pediatrician at BMH. This year’s theme is: “Idaho Living!” We’re asking students from Eastern Idaho to draw their favorite thing(s) about living in Idaho.

“We have seen so much excitement surrounding our coloring contest in the past couple of years that we are happy to be bringing it back for a third year,” says Dr. Ullery. “In addition to how fun this contest is for kids, creative activities can help children develop a variety of important skills, such as cultivating critical thinking abilities, strengthening problem-solving skills, and stimulating imagination, which leads to innovation. Coloring, in particular, can also help a child to relax and be comfortable while expressing themselves creatively.”

A winning child from each grade grouping will receive a $2,500 prize for their school and $500 prize for their classroom. In addition, a child from each group will receive a new bike with helmet for themselves. All children in the following grades throughout Eastern Idaho will be eligible to participate:

Kids from groups 1 & 2 can print the entry form and color the BMH logo with what their favorite thing is about living in Idaho. For everyone in group 3, print the entry form and color a picture of something that is your favorite thing(s) is/are about living in Idaho.
