Bingham Healthcare’s Blue Distinction Centers+ (Plus) Designations
BLACKFOOT, ID – September 15, 2020 – Recently, Regence Blue Shield of Idaho and Blue Cross recognized Bingham Healthcare’s Bariatric program as a Blue Distinction® Centers+ (Plus). In addition, they had also previously designated Bingham Healthcare Orthopedics as a Blue Distinction® Centers+ (Plus) because they provide higher quality total knee and hip replacement surgeries.
In 2019, Bingham’s Bariatric program was designated as a Blue Distinction Center because they demonstrated quality care, treatment expertise, and better overall patient results. However, this year they became a Blue Distinction Centers+ (Plus) because they have now demonstrated that they provide more affordable care in addition to quality care, treatment expertise, and better overall patient results. Bingham Healthcare Orthopedics total knee and hip replacement program also met the same high stand standards last year.
